Companies I Love: Thrive Market

February 12, 2019 • Lifestyle

This is a start of a new series on my blog featuring companies that I personally use and love! I’ve spent years on my health journey trying different food services, and exploring different avenues to purchase health foods/ specialty items, and want to share some of my favorites with you!
I am starting this series off with a company I have been using for over 3 years now called Thrive Market. Thrive Market is an e-commerce membership-based retailer offering natural and organic food products. It is similar to Costco or BJ’s Wholesale in that it sells products at a reduced cost/ wholesale prices, but it’s better in my opinion in that it focuses on a healthy lifestyle. It’s really cool because you can filter on their website to shop by category depending on your values and diet such as Keto, Paleo, Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten-free etc. This is super helpful for people who eat a specific diet.

I do my weekly grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s for produce and many other items, but many specialty foods I can only find at Wegmans or Whole Foods Market, and a lot of them I can purchase on Thrive Market for cheaper, and have it delivered to my door. Some of my favorite items I regularly buy through Thrive Market include: Banza pasta (if you look at my recipes on here you’ll see Banza is my favorite pasta – I highly recommend!), Wrawp pizza crusts, Artisana raw cashew butter, Thrive Market grain-free granola, Simple Mills pancake mix/ cookie mix/ pizza dough mix, Enjoy Life dairy-free chocolate chips, Eden Foods organic beans/ chickpeas and Primal Kitchen dressings and condiments (just to name a few!).

Not only does Thrive Market offer food items, they also have vitamins and supplements, beauty, bath and body products, and home items. I regularly purchase body wash, face wash, lotions, and cleaning supplies from Thrive. Here are some of my favorite non-food items: Natracare 100% cotton regular applicator tampons, Alba Botanica body washes/ face washes / face masks, and Seventh Generation cleaning supplies.

Let’s talk DEALS. Thrive Market is great with flooding your email inbox with deals all the time. They frequently give away free items (with a purchase) so I will wait until I see a free item that interests me to place my normal order. Then I get to try a new item for free! They also always offer free shipping with orders over $49, so naturally I always wait to order until my cart is at least $49 (which is so easy to do), because I avoid shipping costs like the Plague.

To top it all off, Thrive is incredibly ethical; part of their mission is to make “healthy living easy and affordable for everyone”. For every Thrive Market Membership purchase (which is $59.95/month), Thrive donates a membership to a low-income family, teacher, veteran or student.

I know this probably sounds like I was paid to write all this great stuff about this company, but NOPE. I genuinely love being a Thrive Market member, and wanted to share this great resource with all of you. If you have any additional questions about Thrive, or products you are curious about, ask away! I will let you know if I’ve tried it and if I liked it.

If you’d like to give Thrive Market a try, they have a “Refer & Earn” program. By using my link to sign up you’ll get 25% off your first order, and I’ll get $25 in Thrive Cash. Let’s THRIVE together!
