Must-Try Items from Trader Joe’s
Hey guys! This is a follow-up to my other post “5 Healthy Must-Have Items from Trader Joe’s“, only this list of Trader Joe’s items focuses much less on health, and more on taste! I know my website focuses on leading a healthy lifestyle, accompanied by healthy recipes, however, I do believe a part of that is balance, which means not being “perfect” all the time, and enjoying some treats once in awhile too! Remember, everything in moderation! So on that note, here’s a list of some of my favorite things from Trader Joe’s (not in any particular order)- notice I took these pictures in the store because I didn’t actually want to purchase them all (would be a bit too tempting to have in the house all at once haha)! However, these are all items I have purchased at some point and very much enjoyed! Let me know if you have tried any of these, and what other items I should add to this list!
1. Trader Joe’s Organic Shells and White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese
This stuff brings me back to my childhood. It tastes very similar to Annie’s White Cheddar mac, and is simply delicious. I like to add black pepper and hot sauce to it!
2. Trader Joe’s Speculoos Crunchy Cookie Butter
Trader Joe’s cookie butter is definitely a MUST-TRY in your lifetime! It is so decadent and SO sweet, so I personally can only have a spoonful or two at a time, but man is it delicious. Nick likes to mix it into ice cream.
3. Trader Joe’s Port Salut cheese
This cheese is my go-to soft cheese to put out on a cheese board when I have company over. It pairs so well with honey, honey comb, crackers and sliced green apple. That combination is always a crowd-pleaser!
4. Trader Joe’s Social Snackers
Going along with the previous item, these crackers taste so buttery and delicious and pair perfectly with Trader Joe’s Port Salut cheese. Pick these up next time you’re hosting!
5. Trader Joe’s Organic Mini Cheese Sandwich Crackers
This snack reminds me of my childhood, and would be perfect as a snack for your kiddos (or yourself, because adults deserve these too!). They also make these with peanut butter instead of cheese and those are also amazing.
6. Trader Joe’s Baked Cheese Crunchies
WOW, okay you need these in your life if you have ever loved Cheeto’s. These apparently have less fat than Cheeto’s, however, let’s be real, these are not healthy whatsoever so that claim doesn’t really mean anything to me. Just be prepared to want to eat the whole bag in one sitting! (Don’t say I didn’t warn you!)
7. Trader Joe’s Spud Crunchies Potato Snacks
Continuing the list with yummy snacks- these “spud crunchies” are basically like super crunchy/airy french fries. So good!
8. Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels
These are another must-try snack. They’re perfect to pack and take with you because unlike chips, they don’t easily break.
9. Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Protein Granola
This is one of the healthier items on this list. Another peanut butter treat, this granola is so good on its own, or to use as a topping for oatmeal, yogurt, etc.
10. Trader Joe’s Chocolatey Coated Chocolate Chip Dunkers
These cookies are crunchy and delicious. They are perfectly built to dunk into a glass of milk.
11. Trader Joe’s Pancake Bread
This pancake bread literally tastes like pancakes but baked into a loaf. I highly suggest warming it up a few seconds in the microwave. Nick likes to eat it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
12. Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter Cups
These chocolate sunflower seed butter cups are so good. I also highly recommend the dark chocolate peanut butter cups!
13. Trader Joe’s Milk Chocolate & Honey Toffee Pecans
Nick picked these out one day and now we seem to be buying them all the time. Such a yummy treat, and I love that they are a decent size so I can eat just one or two and my sweet tooth is satisfied!
There are a lot more items I could add to this list (and also to the healthy Trader Joe’s items list) so let me know if you’d like a part 2 for either!
