Coffee Protein Smoothie (Only 4 Ingredients!)
If you love coffee AND smoothies – this smoothie is for you! It’s great in the morning to get in your coffee fix, and also as an afternoon pick-me-up (if you can handle caffeine later in the day haha!). This smoothie also has a boost of protein from the protein powder and peanut butter. If you’re wanting to use this as a meal replacement, such as having this for breakfast, add some yogurt or oats to boost up the calories- as this alone is maybe only 300 to 350 calories (depending on your protein powder).
Total Time: 5 minutes
- 1 scoop (or one serving) chocolate protein powder of choice (I use Orgain)
- 8 oz black cold brew coffee (I like the Trader Joe's canned black cold brew coffee)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbs all natural peanut butter (Here's my recipe for homemade peanut butter!)
- 4 ice cubes
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
